This is during the Balloon Stampede so we will have hot air balloons flying over us, weather permitting!
Cost - $255 per person based on dbl occupancy. Full Payment is due April 12th!
Leave Portland no later than 1:00 on Friday in order to attend the wine reception I have set up. I recommend you take the day off and visit Woodward Canyon and L'Ecole on your way towards Walla Walla. These are two great wineries and they are right next to each other.
~2 nights in the stunning, historic Weinhard Hotel in Dayton (just outside of Walla Walla), continental breakfast, fruit and chocolate basket in your room and the 9.9% room tax included. As an added bonus, the owners have agreed to offer 20% off a future winter stay Dec. 1st-Feb 10th! The few rooms left have one queen bed so if you don't have a meetup friend you are comfortable sharing a bed with, I suggest you convince a friend, relative or significant other to come along that you can share a bed with.
Single supplement cost will be an additional $164 per person for a total of $408 for the weekend.
~Wine Tasting Reception Friday night at 7:00 p.m. on the rooftop. Incredible Dumas Station Wine, Couvillion and one I haven't tasted called Dayton Wine Works.
~Unfortunately the band that had agreed to provide entertainment cancelled on me so we won't have live music. :-(
~Departure at 11:00 Sharp! 6 hour wine tour transportation on Saturday includes 5 winery visits, sack lunch and driver gratuity. The first 5 are included in the cost for the weekend. Additional wineries over 5 will at your expense. I have Amavi, Cavu, Five Star Cellars, Beresan and Balboa booked.
~7:00 Dinner on Saturday night.
Win This!!: Susan won this room in the raffle! The Signature Room is for those special occasions when only fabulous will suffice. The grand 4 piece bedroom set dates back to the mid-1800s, and the bathroom boasts the modern luxury of a two-person Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Everyone is on their own on Sunday. We may opt to split up or we may caravan to other wineries either in Walla Walla or in The Gorge on our way home. Personally, I will definitely be stopping at Syncline across from Hood River on my way back home. I love their wine!
