October signals the culmination of the harvest. The grapes have been picked, they are in their fermenters and we all anxiously await the wines they will become.

So, let's celebrate the harvest by enjoying harvests past!

We will be enjoying five wines from France. These are all from Robert Kacher Selections, one of the most respected importers of French wines.
The cost will be $15.00, payable at the door. Cheese, hummus, pate and breads will be served. Additional food items can be purchased off the menu. The wines featured at the tasting will be available for purchase, this night only, at 10% off their regular prices.

This was a fun tasting. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and enjoying the wines.

Wine #3. the Mas Guiot was the controvertial wine. Some loves it, others not so much. It was a Grenache-Syrah blend from the southern part of the Rhone Valley. It had that French "stank". Earthy, barnyardy on the nose....yet pleasant on the palate. All in all a great event.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
