Ample water is always on our September minds--dry summers are normal here. But Permaculture teaches numerous ways to “plant” water on your land. Another example of why everyone needs Permaculture education--including those unable to afford costly classes or travel.
So we are starting a new group. It will meet the first or second Saturday of each month for a “study” lunch or picnic. This month we will study ways to retain water on our property naturally--until it can eventually become droughtproof--many Permaculturists even reporting springs starting to appear downhill. Permaculture teaches the need to plant water BEFORE you plant trees and vegetables.
This ongoing study group will be put on Meetup at random times while we build up our membership, then take itself private before it gets too large to be conducive to learning. A tour or demonstration will follow lunch when possible. We will keep these around the Northeastern edge of the metroplex.
