Truly I love to garden. I am at one with the world, life and my creator when I see the wholeness of this endeavor. I grew up with a sustainable back yard, we had one acre and always raised our own food to supplement our large family.
No, only herbs, but building a house and have a huge backyard. Looking to design a garden and edible landscape. Starting from scratch I hope to inspire my family & community.
I have a meetup group I started POETs and so it is part of pulling my life and home into living sustainably and being prepared for possible harder economic times while enjoying the adventure and the people I am going to meet as I grow towards an organic lifestyle.
I am hooked;)
Lisa, I like to get involved with your program for preparedness planning. I read your invite to the Friday night meetups but I work late nightly Mon-Fri and can't make it then. Is there some other time we can meet. New Member 4/12/12
Lisa, are you willing to be the organizer if others would help out? It seems you have a good group going. I hope to attend the next meeting in January.
Hello, so glad to know there is a group like this close to Terrell. Food storage, sustainable living, and emergency preparedness have been major interests since the late 70's. Looking forward to meeting you all.
