Just a quick note to introduce myself as your Assistant Organizer. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you, sharing my knowledge, and gaining knowledge from you. I am currently looking for a venue to host our second Meetup. If you know of a location that would be appropriate, send it my way. Since Thanksgiving is a crazy time for most of us, I'm hoping to have something planned for the end of the month or early December.
One would think that it's not the time of year to be thinking about your veggie garden. Au contraire my dirty-nailed friends! Not only is this the best time to lay the foundation for a new garden, but it is also an opportunity to do some things that will make next year's garden even better. This will be the main focus of much of the material and tips I will be sharing with you.

With a little effort we can feed our families more nourishing organic food and have a healthier, less expensive, and more sustainable homestead.
