We may not see an end to institutional and structural racism in our lifetimes, but we can continue to tear down these structures, brick by brick, if we join together to continue to raise our awareness, gather more information, plan, take action, evaluate, and gather more information. We can only be successful if we do thistogether, along which others who share the same orientation, definitions, and principles.
The Organizing Against Racism network exists to help facilitate conversations about race and racism towards the end of changing the dynamics of race in our community. Our goal is an inclusive, loving and meaningful community respectful of diverse viewpoints. We seek to be a light of hope and beacon of knowledge for those seeking to better understand the role played in our daily lives by race and racism. We hope to understand racism’s impact on our shared humanity, and to advocate for better outcomes for all of us.
