Welcome!

Orlando Adventure Club (OAC) is new to Meet-Up, but we have been offering Central Floridians a wide variety of recreational, social, cultural and travel events since 2006. We’ve hiked, biked, canoed and kayaked just about every trail and waterway in the area. Plus we have hosted two cruises, a ski trip to Banff, a weekend of scuba/snorkeling in the Keys and a trip to Machupicchu in Peru. Overall we have hosted over 700 events since we started on January 5, 2006. Now we would like to extend a welcome to adventurous, active, fun loving adults of all ages in the Meetup community.

Since we enjoy terrific weather most of the year, our focus is on outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, bicycling, scuba diving, horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking. We will also host several social/cultural events each month such as dinners, wine tastings, movies, museums and happy hours. Plus we plan several adventure oriented trips each year.

Please note that we are not a dating or singles oriented club. We welcome singles and couples who are at least 25 years old. Most members are single, and sometimes there is attraction between various members and surely that's some of the fun in a group like this, however if this is your prime motivation for joining; please do not, there are other groups better serving your interests. Our mission is to provide members a wide array of fun-filled activities in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. The events we host reflect a wide range of interests, giving members the opportunity to share the fun with positive and lively people like themselves. Additionally, many of our events are planned with the beginner in mind, so you will have many opportunities to try a broad range of new activities.
