Learn about Prisoners of War

Lunch & Learn with Capt. Giles Norrington and producer Michael Rothfeld - Prisoners of War: Stolen Freedom

Thursday, November 7, noon-1 p.m.

The heroic tales of prisoners of war in earlier conflicts have largely been forgotten until now. Join Michael Rothfeld, director of “Prisoners of War: Stolen Freedom,” for a screening of a documentary produced by the nonprofit organization Florida Veterans Programs & Projects, Inc.  Learn how four former American POWs who fought in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War managed to survive the brutality of being captured—and hear from one of them, Capt. Giles Norrington, who was in the Hanoi Hilton. Discover their uplifting messages of freedom and courage.

Noon-1 p.m.

Free. Lunches available for pre-order from Jason’s Deli for $6 per person.

Space is limited. Call (407)[masked] for reservations.
