The next meeting of the Orlando Reef Divers is 19 February at Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen in Winter Park. As usual, we'll start to gather a little after six and the business meeting starts at 7:00.
We have an exciting presentation lined up for this meeting. Sara Delk will regale us with stories and pictures of her diving adventure on the Argo liveaboard dive boat to Cocos Island. Cocos Island lies 260 miles off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica and is the world's largest uninhabited island. Schools of hundreds of hammerhead sharks, along with giant Manta Rays, bottlenose dolphins, whale sharks, sharks, tuna and millions of smaller fish, all are home in Cocos Island. You definitely do not want to miss it.
We also have trips open and waiting for you to sign up. The traditional Derby Dive trip in May still has spaces available. The June Babies trip is filling up fast. And the August trip to Cozumel is now open and taking deposits.
If you haven't been to a meeting lately or ever, this is your chance to hang out with some really fun people. See you there!
