Is there free parking there or a garage?

    • Kevin H.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any free parking. There is a parking garage directly across the street from the entrance to the library, and they charge $2 per hour. See you soon.

Hi, I'm new to the area and would like to meet people in the maker community.

Sorry, I can't make this. It conflicts with my Raspberry Pi workshop, or else I'd be there!

Hi Mac, sorry you 'll miss tomorrow's meeting ... I look forward to seeing you at future meetups.

I regret it too! I'll work to keep the meetups from having a conflict from here on out.

FYI - Richard has registered our club for a booth at the September Mini Maker Faire! Woo-Hoo! :-) http://www.makerfaireorlando.com/maker-detail/?maker-id=33

FYI - Folks who are presenting: the projector does have a PC computer hooked up to it, so if you have a USB memory stick with your slides, that should be sufficient. Or you can also bring your laptop if you want, but that shouldn't be necessary. We'll find out on Saturday how the projector actually works. :-) See you soon!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
