As it stands now I only expand upon, or make things better. For example; The ways in which I incorporate computers in my home is an ever evolving creative process. They are an extension of me and I them. I never waste anything, always re purposing spare spares in some fashion or another. If I had to name the one defining feature of my main PC, it would be its function as a home theater pc/server, where I catalog many terabytes worth of mostly uncompressed loss-less media. Its not exactly original, but the way it is implemented and presented I assure is unlike most are used to seeing. I privy all things open-source and community driven, and take nightly software to be on the cutting edge always. I enjoy nothing more than finding new ways my machines can help me intake data as well, and get creative with how I interact with them. I am wanting to expand upon all of this, by going to the next level of hardware modification and design.
Absolutely. I have much more to talk about.
Raspberry pi is a HUGE interest! I just purchased one recently but haven't had too much time to tinker with it because of a heavy load of math this semester, but I love Adafruit industries as well and am a definite backer. I want to learn to soldier for sure, and actually fabrication areas such as metalworking and welding are goals. Too many times have I needed these skills in the past but I want to change that. If I can expand in these areas then I am confident I could be a strong force in all of my endeavors. Lastly, teaching, teaching, and teaching...I want to create innovate ways for people to learn. I feel so much in academia is too far behind the times, and not enough is being done.
Well science, astronomy, namely astro-photography are things I am very interested in. My plans for a home observatory would certainly benefit from having more flexibility in my skill set. Other than that, I'm just a huge nerd. I game a little, but not as much as I used to. I like to tinker with my car, which also has an elaborate tech setup I am rather proud of inside.
From Indiana, but have lived in Florida for over 20 years. Currently studying mathematics and science at Valencia in preparation for a physics degree. I consider learning and also teaching those interested what I know my highest priority.
