November Meetup

First Matthew Closson will be talking on Ruby Application Analytics, then Jason Rosensweig will be giving us a talk on the Titanium mobile development environment. Free drinks, smiles, and beer as usual, just be sure to park in the parking garage (that's where the unlocked doors are). Longer descriptions below:

Ruby Application Analytics

Do you want to create applications which your users will love to use and keep coming back to? What about getting a better handle on the way your application is used? Come learn how to identify actionable insights to improve your application's usability and guide users to take the actions you desire by implementing analytics in your Ruby code.

We'll write the code needed to implement and test analytics and then demonstrate how to improve our application with the results captured.

Titanium - Not Just for Hip Replacements, Part I

Appcelerator's Titanium is an open, extensible development environment for creating native apps across different mobile devices and platforms including iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Tizen and HTML5. Using JavaScript as it's programming language, Titanium allows developers who are unfamiliar with Java or Objective-C to create amazing native mobile apps quickly and efficiently.

Hi! I'm a german developer traveling through Florida right now. Would it be okay if I arrive an hour earlier and work on some open source stuff?
