"Ruby Motion: Creating iOS apps in Ruby" with Thom Parkin

We're going to start the new year strong this month with Thom Parkin giving a talk on Ruby Motion entitled "How I learned to stop worrying and create iOS apps in Ruby".   There will be free beer & drinks from Envy Labs.

Ruby Motion is a new tool chain for iOS development written for Rubyists by Rubyists. Trying the "...in 24 Hours" book method of learning iOS mobile development, Thom dubbed Apple's [neXtStep] language as 'Objectionable-C'.  As an avid Ruby (and Rails) developer, he discovered that creating iPhone/iPad apps can actually became FUN with RubyMotion!
