How long have you programmed ruby? (it's okay if it's none)

Though I have been fascinated by Ruby and Rails nearly as long as Rails has existed I regret that I have logged very little hands on time working with either. I have long since been stuck in .NET/Java land due to work responsibilities. As of late, however, I have started a personal campaign for myself to become proficient in Ruby and its may wonderful tools (like Rails). Although I have tinkered with Rails on and off for years, even nearly completing a simple bug tracking app, I have resolved to reboot my efforts by starting with the latest edition of the Ruby Pickaxe book.

Are you working with Ruby at your day job?

Regrettably no. Although, I'm on a mission to change that.

If yes, where do you work?

I'm a Polyglot Programmer that would very much like to strengthen my rather limited knowledge of Ruby. I have been fascinated by both Ruby and Rails since I saw the epic original "15 min Blog" video by DHH. Whoops!
