Watch "The Miami Connection" at the Enzian at Midnight!

It's bad 80's movie night at the Enzian, and they're playing, "The Miami Connection" Friday night, on December 28th. (The Friday after Christmas.) I've never seen it, but it sounds bad enough to be entertaining.

If this sounds interesting to you, let's make it a midnight movie!  No critiquing--except of course of the film!

The movie sold out last weekend, so I'd recommend if you want to go, purchasing your tickets in advance! You can purchase them online through the Enzian's site:

http://www.enzian.org/film/miami-connection

It plays this Friday at Midnight.  I'll try to be at the theater at 11:30 to look for members, and then be in line by 11:40 or 11:45.

I hope you can make it, and I hope you're enjoying the holidays.  And FYI, the Enzian has a full drink and dinner menu inside!

So it's not a science fiction or fantasy movie, I get that.  But it is a movie we can watch--and enjoy together! And it does sound a bit fantastic!

If you have any questions, feel free to send them my way!

PS: Please do not confuse The Miami Connection with the song, "The Rainbow Connection" sung by Kermit the Frog! You will be sorely disappointed. And possibly just plain' old disappointed!

Best wishes, hope to see you at the movies,

Michael

PPS: Here is a short blurb about the film:

"The year is 1987. Motorcycle ninjas tighten their grip on Florida’s narcotics trade, viciously annihilating anyone who dares move in on their turf. Multi-national martial arts rock band Dragon Sound have had enough, and embark on a roundhouse wreck-wave of crime-crushing justice. When not chasing beach bunnies or performing their hit song “Against the Ninja,” Mark (Orlando’s very own taekwondo master/inspirational speaker Y.K. Kim) and the boys are kicking and chopping at the drug world’s smelliest underbelly. It’ll take every ounce of their blood and courage, but Dragon Sound can’t stop until they’ve completely destroyed the dealers, the drunk bikers, the kill-crazy ninjas, the middle-aged thugs, the “stupid cocaine”...and the entire MIAMI CONNECTION!!!"
