Who are some of your favorite writers? Or the last book you have read?

I am reading "Anansi Boys" at the moment, as well as "Good Omens". I just read "Ender's Game" to prepare for the movie release. My favorite author is Katharine Kerr.

What would you like to improve with your writing?

I'm still pretty new to writing. I'd like to work on characters the most, I think.

What genres do you tend to write? For example, paranormal romance, hard science fiction, etc.

My current idea is mostly based on the world it happens in, I tend to think of the world before the story. The kinds of stories... I'm hoping to collaborate with people on.

What is the best or worst piece of writing advice you've ever been given?

It's the story, stupid!

When participating in small group discussions, do you more often listen or wait to speak?

I like to think I listen well, but there are times I have an agenda as well.

I created an improvised theatre production in the 2013 Fringe Festival based on The 39 Steps. Now I am looking to create a new project in an original world. I'm interested in mash-ups like Neil Gaiman's "A Study in Emerald" that build on other ideas.
