Stephen King used to be my favorite writer, I still idolize his writings and his mind but I haven't been able to read his books. The last two or three books I read were all by George Carlin, his autobiography and "When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?"
My writing skills, my point of view in writing, but most of all: motive. I have been having a lack of motive to write and I wish to be able to write for fun and for a career but I can't seem to find my place.
Fantasy. Non-fiction. Anything that has a lot of violence, blood and gore, but still write about love and psychology. The main characters of my stories either have a very emotional side or a very humorous side to them. The non-fiction part, I like to write what I have inside my head, what I think about on a daily basis.
I can't really say, the only advice I have ever really been given is to "be yourself." Which is hard at the moment because I can't really say who I am, or who I think I am.
In small groups of 2-3 I speak up, in bigger than that I listen until I am either called upon or something actually grabs my attention.
My name is Jason VandeMaele. I love to write however I am having trouble finding my motive. I am not much of sci-fi writer but I do enjoy to write fantasy. I love learning and playing video games but I am desperately trying to make my writing work.
