Hi, Sarah. How about co-leaders? Mike could handle the critique portion of the group and David doing the other necessary things, such as managing MeetUp? If Mike can't make a meeting, maybe he could work something out, such as emailing David a copy of notes to follow? That way, David could learn through Mike how to lead a critique group. After all, the leader doesn't have to give all the good suggestions!

P.S. Lately, I've been inactive (It's such a drive for me.) but that doesn't mean I don't have an interest in the group. I hate to see a good MeetUp fold because, hopefully, your present troubles will be short lived.)
