February book: "Life after Life" by Dr. Raymond Moody

When it was first published in 1975, "Life after Life" revolutionized our understanding of life after death. Previously people who had life after death experiences thought they were unique and/or crazy. Most kept their experiences private, fearing their stories would be rejected, even mocked. Accounts of life after death experiences were anecdotal at best. Dr. Moody was one of the first to make a systematic case study of over 150 near death experiences. Far from one person's anecdotal account, this well researched book is a catalogues 15 common events of life after death experiences that were encountered by a wide array people of different ages, races, and even faiths.

Perhaps the best of both worlds is to have TWO meetings discussing this book. Those who wish can still informally meet on Feb 27 and discuss this book as well as any other topics that come up. Then, again on March 20, the entire group can meet with Tim as facilitator.
Footnote: Guys, I haven't attended anything recently, as I've been busy helping set up events in three other groups, plus I don't enjoy outdoor meetings in winter if it gets cold.

I'm confused now... Are we no longer meeting tomorrow night 2/27?

I just sent everyone an email. I can't facilitate due to a work conflict. I'd prefer to reschedule because I really enjoyed the book and would love to be part of the discussion. If the majority wants to meet, I understand. Let me see what the majority wants and I'll either reset it for tomorrow or reschedule it for March.

March is great for me. I think you should be there definitely; you did select the book after all.

There is a 25th anniversary edition with a Preface by Dr. Melvin Morse and Foreword by Dr. Elisabeth Ross. These brief sections have some really good info if you can find the anniversary edition (purple cover with "Over 13 million copies sold" written at the top)
