Tony, this March/ Rally is being organized and led by The Black Leadership Alliance. The message is that the Senate version on the immigration bill will result in legimitate US citizens losing their jobs to people that are in this country illegally. It will immediately legalize the 12 million illegal immigrants that reside in our country and legitimize them to take jobs performed currently by legal citizens of our country. I, for one, feel we do need to correct/ reform our immigration system but the Senate version is full of holes and does not even ensure the border will become secure. I am proud to join this awesome group of African-American Leaders to protest the Senate bill and encourage the house to pass a better bill.

Great answer, Bill. Then i'm behind it 100%. I didn't make the connection....didn't read it in the description of the march, that it is about opposition to the "amnesty" bill. I was worried someone thought the gov't could do anything other than just get the heck out of the way for job creation, because in truth, the only thing that can truely create jobs is of course the free market.

What exactly is the March for Jobs asking the government to do to help with the job / unemployment situation in this country? We all want lower unemployment. What is the goal of this march......what does "it" think the gov't CAN do on this issue?
