Companies to Demo -

Zentila - http://zentila.com
The online travel market is crammed with companies focused on individual travel. The meetings and conventions industry represents a 1/3 of all travel, but has yet to find its way online. Zentila is the first end-to-end booking solution that enables professional and occasional corporate meeting planners to source and book meetings, all from their computer. Enlightenment, our enterprise solution, helps companies to add transparency to their overall meeting spend resulting in reduced corporate risk and dramatic savings.

Robb and Croy, you're all-stars for hosting this monthly Meetup. I loved how a diverse group of people came together for the evening -- from coders to social marketers to service providers. Great energy and conversation.

When you're given a free space to use, you use it. With that said, the acoustics on that room were horrid. Echo, white noise, etc. I don't blame to organizers for that though. Most of the information was completely out of my wheelhouse and interest. New tech to me isn't limited to software and web apps. New tech is also hardware and scientific innovation in various fields. It would be nice if these meetups also encouraged people who are working on new textile products to show up and showcase their ideas, even if they only have drawings at the moment.

I did not attend, but agree with Doug. All the meetings I have attended have only been for software apps.

Will do. Any particular time best for you? With it being a holiday (kid off school) and my wife off work too, we're likely to go do some family fun thing, but I can make time.

I would attend, but parking is so expensive downtown especially when there is an event at the Amway.

I look forward to attending my first meetup. In my global push to get my new company out there using Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc., I have neglected my own back yard. Shame on me. One should never forget the possible potential in your own back yard. Who knows, I may meet some amazing people and get things moving to the next level.
