January Meetup! Happy New Year!

Hey everyone!

Now that the holidays are over it's time to get back into the swing of things. This month's meetup will be January 23rd at the offices of Echo (www.justecho.com).

In keeping with our plans to focus on development, Scott Ahten will be giving a technical presentation. It will tentatively be about Core Data, but we don't have confirmation on that y et. However, I would highly suggest everyone come out and see what Scott has to say.

This month food will be sponsored once again by TEKsystems (http://teksystems.com/). If you're currently looking for work please reach out to them and they'll be able to place you into a great job. They're constantly on the lookout for mobile developers, so reach out to them when you're ready to get paid for doing what you love.

Finally, Echo and the Orlando iOS Meetup were mentioned in an article in the Orlando Sentinel. If you've got a few minutes, take a look and read about the Orlando Tech scene and it's future.

Great to see so many new and old faces. The group certainly appears to be growing, which is wonderful to see. I hope everyone continues to come out for the rest of the year!

Worthwhile night, even with an hour drive each way, good presentation ( a little over my head, but I learned a lot) Keep up the good work, and Happy New Year!
