I wanted to remind everyone that there's a beginner project that's active right now for the meetup. The project is to build a basic application that allows you to search twitter. It can be as simple as a search bar at the top of a table view. When you run a search you hit Twitter's API, collect the Tweets, and display them in the table.
The goal here is for you to learn about REST APIs, Table Views, the search bar, etc.
If you don't have the time to learn from scratch, there's a great article on raywenderlich.com
. I'd suggest starting there and getting something built.
If we have time at February's meetup we'll go over what everyone learned and had difficulties with.
Also, it looks like the meetup will be February 20th, so mark your calendars.
