“Meditation…You just are…and it is a sheer delight”
Each Tuesday evening, we will playfully practice a variety of Osho Active Meditations. These meditations were scientifically designed for “do and do more” Western societies. The techniques incorporate light physical activities such as humming and energy imagery.
Through these activities, we let go of tensions and “tune our bodies” in preparation for an approximate 15-minute period of silent watching.
Watching is an essential element to meditation. When we are able to watch our bodies, our emotions, our mind’s voice; this unlocks deep levels of Self-awareness, our personal power to respond to life’s events and joyous quietude. We can become the peaceful center of life’s cyclone.
No prior meditation experience is necessary. These techniques amazingly custom fit us all, regardless of experience level. Your instructor, Jennifer Johnston, will act as your Tour guide and participates along with you.
Vibrating in playfulness and the fresh energy of spontaneity, Jennifer will intuitively determine which of the meditation techniques provides the best fit for the participants for that day. Jennifer will reveal the type of meditation practice at the beginning of each session and provide instructions and guidance.
The only requirement is that you come ... open and willing to explore your Self in a different way.
