Udi Dahan - "The Software Simplist" visits Oslo and gives us some insights into his views on designing highly scalable distributed systems.
The topic tonight is how to deal with the passage of time.
There are certain types of requirements that require developers to think in 4 dimensions - specifically dealing with the passage of time in various business processes. In this talk, Udi will demonstrate a common scenario showing why traditional programming techniques are inadequate for handling time and an interesting twist on some well known technologies for mastering the 4th dimension.
After the talk there will be an Q&A session.
