Welcome to the Ottawa Homeschooling Group!

This group is an open-minded group for homeschoolers of all levels - whether your a veteran or a newcomer or an interestee not yet schooling but looking for more info, tips & advice. You can be a strict curriculum follower, a radical unschooler, or someone doing something in between. In the end, we're all doing the same thing: seeking alternative education for our children, as well as support, group activities, co-op's, and new ideas!

The aim of this group is to serve as a platform to get together, plan group activities, and share advice and resources. There can be group events, field trips, conference meet-ups, co-op's, group unit studies, etc. Whatever people feel like doing, we can set it up!  

Please note that a new organizer has just stepped up to fill the position, so we are still figuring out some kinks and settings. Some things might be changing and moving as we find our groove. Any suggestion you might have as you get involved in the group will be welcomed!
