Hometown: Montreal now living in Ottawa
June 18, 2013
Wow, well.. don't know if I want to discuss them until after I have read them but let's see: One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Marquez, And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Housseini, The Good House by Ann Leary, Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter, The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Foer
I can't decide this one. If I'm going to imagine being trapped on a desert island for a year, I can imagine it having a fantastic free hotel filled with really interesting guests, a fabulous beach and a huge library.
Classic and lots of audiobooks which I listen to while I work.
I think I saw it online while perusing "meet up" groups in Ottawa but never did anything. Then I met Jennifer at another event and she kindly invited and encouraged me to try it. Thanks Jennifer!
Love to read and discuss with other bibliophiles.
Fantastic group of people and very much enjoyed the discussion I'm looking forward to future meets.
