Monday, Feb 10th - Attracting the Partners and Raising all the capital you need.

To all OREIO Members,

On February 10th, we will be fortunate enough to hear from two of our very own members. Ken Beaton creator of the 5 homes to freedom program, and Victor Menasce author of “The Great Canadian TakeOver” Ken Beaton will be speaking on “Attracting Money and Joint Venture Partners” and Victor Menasce on “Raising all the capital you need.” One serious theme from two serious investors.

Attracting Money and JV Partners

Ken is the president of ARCA Real Estate Investments Inc. Ken began his career as a Civil Engingeer Technologist before taking over Clayton Lakeside Resort, along with his wife Joanne. Ken also acquired his real estate license in 1990 and worked for Gale Real Estate. Ken and Joanne sold their business in 2003 so that Ken could work full time for his new company ARCA Real Estate Inc. Ken has mentored for the Whitney and Rich Dad Real Estate programs for two years. In 2009 Ken aligned himself with Darren Weeks and Dave Dubeau from Fast Track to offer real estate education and in 2010 Ken launched a very successful real estate brokerage in Alberta, focusing on the needs of the real estate investor. Currently Ken has returned to his roots in eastern Ontario working as a real estate broker with Royal Lepage Gale Real Estate as well continuing with his passion of teaching others the secrets of investing in real estate.

In 2001 Ken read a book called Rich Dad Poor Dad which literally changed his world. Prior to reading this book Ken and Joanne owned and operated a seasonal resort on Clayton Lake which they sold in 2003. Ken started investing in real estate and then in 2004 he signed up for some real estate education courses.

This led Ken to becoming a real estate mentor for this education company which unleashed his passion to educate others. In 2010 he was invited to move  west to start a brand new real estate brokerage called Fast Track Real Estate designed to work with real estate investors. Ken moved back to the Ottawa area in the spring of 2013 to work as a real estate broker with Royal Lepage Gale Real Estate and to continue educating new investors.

Raising all the Capital You Need

Many investors report that access to capital is the one thing limiting the growth of their real estate investment business. Victor Menasce has raised over $200 million dollars in his career across a variety of businesses. This educational session will break down the four critical elements required to successfully raise capital for any real estate project. This is a systematic approach that Victor uses in his own real estate investment business each and every day. Come ready with your pencils sharp, ready to take lots of notes. You can put what you learn into practice the very next day.

Victor Menasce Bio

Victor Menasce is author of "The Great Canadian TakeOver; How Savvy Canadians are Profiting Wildly from the Meltdown in US Real Estate." He is also Managing Partner of US Real Estate Partners, specializing in development of new residential and rental housing nation-wide.
