What we’re about

The Ottawa Rosicrucian Meetup Group is a local group designed to serve the Ottawa area by providing opportunities for mystics and seekers to meet up in an open forum and explore Rosicrucian philosophy, concepts and practical techniques. Our Meetup group is organized by the local chapter of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, in order to share and explore Rosicrucian knowledge and insights with anyone interested in mysticism and spiritual development. Those who wish to dig deeper in the Rosicrucian teachings are welcome to also join the Rosicrucian Order, if they are so inclined. There is never any pressure to do so.

Now about the The Rosicrucian Order ...
The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC is a school of learning, offering a system of study that enables people to develop their full personal potential. It is not a religion and does not prescribe a set of beliefs or conduct. Rosicrucians come from every religion and background in the world. AMORC stands for Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis or Rose Cross.
Rosicrucians are educators, students and seekers devoted to exploring inner wisdom and the meaning of life. We offer an ancient, time-tested, system of study and experimentation which reveals the underlying principles of the universe. Our method offers practical tools applicable to all aspects of life. The Rosicrucian teachings allow individuals to direct their own lives, experience inner peace and leave their mark on humanity.

We live in turbulent, challenging times. However, some of the difficulties we experience are of our own making. Perhaps we don't know why, or we simply are not sufficiently aware that we are indeed, at least to some degree, creators of the life we experience. But there is a way to become increasingly aware, to gain a greater degree of "self mastery" over our experiences of life, to in effect "wake up" to a higher level of reality or conscious awareness.

Is it possible that you have the means to directly experience a level of reality which is itself pure peace, non judging, and unconditionally loving?

Through a mix of meditation based experiences, video clips, and discussion, we will embark on an inward journey towards the experience of "Lucid Waking", rediscovering and acknowledging our true natures as points of pure lighted awareness.

You are warmly invited to attend this public, open house event. You do not need to be a Rosicrucian member to attend. Our intention for this workshop is to provide a friendly, safe space for all seekers, regardless of your specific personal spiritual paths.

Cost: There is no fee to attend but any donation to offset expenses is always gratefully accepted.
