Understanding Software Craftmanship

NOTE: We are not on our current Tuesday due to the March Break!

Bryan Beecham and Simon Bourk through this use of language, LEGO, and code will walk you through concepts such as TDD, Refactoring, DRY and the SOLID principles. It's not all watching code as you'll get to play with LEGO to experience things first-hand. There will be an Agile 101 session to begin the night with Glenn Waters.
This event is currently looking for a location. If your company would like to host, please let us know. Our preference this month would be for a downtown location.

Great session last night. If you're interested in the topic, we've started an Ottawa Software Craftsmanship Group. Join us tonight at 7pm at the Royal Oak (161 Laurier East). This is an informal meetup to figure out the structure and direction the group should take.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
