I realize I'm going against the grain here, using the list. But I've found the online resources disappointing.
CPHA (The Canadian Public Health Association), a not-for-profit member-based organization promoting public health in Canada and around the world, is looking to replace its website, now several years old, with something fresh and appealing. I will build the site myself, but I'm no designer! We are particularly interested in illustrators, rather than using stock photography.
FYI, public health is all about prevention:
- get vaccinated
- practice safe sex
- eat right
- don't do drugs
CPHA also pursues advocacy on behalf of its members, to ensure that government policy and health practices promote healthy living.
See the RFP for a designer here: cpha.ca/uploads/webmaster/CPHA-Website-Design-RFP.pdf
My apologies for using the list, but we prefer someone local, and this is the right group to ask!
PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THE LIST OR TO ME. Instructions are in the RFP.
