One of the benefits of practical philosophy is to compel us to seek out ways to deal with the conundrum of managing truth and honesty in our modern world; both with those around us, and within ourselves. This event will allow us to sink our teeth into some interesting areas within this subject. As usual, our facilitators will be provided with though-provoking questions to fuel the discussions.

Food for Thought Page

We encourage all of our members to check out some of the Food for Thought videos prior to our events. This provides some common ground and a great way to break the ice with new members.

Facilitator Information

As previously mentioned, our members take turns helping to facilitate our discussions. We require one discussion facilitator for each table of 6 people but I doubt that we`ll have a problem finding volunteers.

A lively discussion, with varied perspectives. In retrospect, I think we may have missed some very profound areas for discussion, however, hindsight always gives the broader view. It was great to see Mike again and to meet our six new members!

Disappointed that you may have to cancel this event if no one volunteers to be facilitator. Out of 12, surely someone will step to the plate? if this were not my first time there, Iwould do it , but I think I should be an observer for this one time to learn what is needed. I am really looking forward to this..

Unfortunately I'm already booked for Tuesday evenings each week. I hope it's a great discussion and I'll be sorry to miss it.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this event in person but I will be coordinating it to run just as smoothly as the events which I'm able to attend in person. Please see this page for more details: http://philosophydinners.org/Co...
