If not already stated in your introduction - please state your reason for being part of this group (required to join). Do you have any ideas for topics? (Optional)
I would like to have intelligent discussions and meet new people. I don't have ideas for topics but I might in the future.
We have one volunteer discussion faciliator at each of our tables during our events to help keep the conversations on topic. Could you help out as an occasional facilitator? (No experience is required and notes are provided)
Please confirm that your MAIN profile picture clearly shows your face. We encourage this in order cultivate a sense of community in our group. If you would prefer to not show your face, then please at least provide your first name.
I am interested in philosophy and would like to meet new people.
This group is for people who value and enjoy deeper discussions with amazing people and who are also willing to rise to the occasion by joining us to help make these discussion opportunities an ongoing reality.
The events held in this group are all about having fun nights of great people and 'deeper' discussions over dinner in a charming restaurant. This Meetup group was created by Glen Brauer as part of a non-profit global initiative using practical philosophy to bring together strangers to build community. This Meetup group is now part of a network of over 10,000 members located in cities around the world.
