When is the race?
Registration opens at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014. The Kids K starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K at 9 a.m.

Where is the race?
The race will take place at the duck pond in Trinity Park. The nearest intersection is W. 7th St. and Stayton St., Fort Worth, TX 76107.

How can I register?
Online registration is available now! Go here.

Is there a deadline to register?
Register today through Feb. 25 and you can pick up your packet at Christ Chapel Bible Church on Feb. 27 or Feb. 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., or on race day at the registration booth at Trinity Park. Due to the close proximity to race day, T-Shirts will be available on a first come first served basis.

Can I be a part of a team?
Yes! You can sign up multiple individuals to be a part of your team, including children who would like to take part in the Kids K.

Where does the money raised go?
All proceeds raised from this race will go directly to support faith-based pregnancy resource centers in the Tarrant County area, but principally our 5k partners: : Arlington-Mansfield Pregnancy Center, Fort Worth Pregnancy Center, Grace House Ministries, Pregnancy Lifeline and Real Choices Pregnancy Medical Clinic.

Is the race timed?
Chip timing is an option for every participant in the 5K for an additional $3.

What is the purpose of this race?
The Choose Life 5K is a chip-timed 5K run/walk and Kids K to raise awareness and funding for Christ-centered pregnancy resource centers in the Tarrant County area.

Is there an after-party?
Yes, there will be a massive party at the Trinity Park Pavilion just north of the duck pond. Come enjoy bounce houses, food trucks and lots of entertainment at this fun and purposeful event!

Where do I park?
Parking is available at the parking garage behind Fort Worth Running Company (2401 W. 7th St.) and also at Farrington Field (2901 W. Lancaster Ave.) just west of Trinity Park at the southeast corner of University Dr. and W. Lancaster Ave.

Where do I pick up race packets?
Your race packet will be available at Christ Chapel Bible Church on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. or at Trinity Park on the day of the race. If you registered on or before Feb. 16, you may also pick up your packet on Feb. 23 at Christ Chapel Bible Church, Pantego Bible Church or 121 Community Church.

Will pregnancy resource centers be present at the race?
Yes! Representatives from all five pregnancy centers will have information stations at the event and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about what they do.

Can I bring my dog or cat?
Animals are not allowed at the event.

What about baby strollers?
Baby strollers are allowed on the course as well as at the post-race party.

Will there be food at the event?
Food trucks will be present at the event and participants are welcome to purchase food from the vendors.

Can I bring my kids?
Definitely! We will have tons of bounce houses, face painting and balloon animals for children and families to enjoy!

What about bad weather?
Rain or shine we will be running for lives! In the case of extreme inclement weather you will be notified via the email you provided in your registration should the event be canceled.
