2013 MEET & GREET PLANNING SESSION!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  MAKE YOUR RESOLUTION OF GOOD HEALTH AND FUN BY JOINING US AT COZYMEL'S WED. NITE!!!!

You definitely don't want to miss this dinner MEET & GREET PLANNING SESSION!!! Connect with your fellow bikers, new and old, and get motivated for a great 2013 biking season!  In addition to great food & company (tableside guacamole to die for!), we will assess our skill levels and talk about future group rides & trips for 2013.  (We will do separate checks for dinner.)

NEWS FLASH...WE WILL BIKE THE AMAZING DALMATION COAST IN SEPT. 2013!  (See P.S. below  for more about the Dalmation Coast, it may the most awesome place you never heard of--for complete trip details scroll thru future meetups to Sept. 20, 2013.)

Cozymel's (on Butterfield Rd. at Loop Rd. in Wheaton) has a great menu and informal atmosphere that you will love--table side guacamole is awesome!  Plus it is the perfect place to think about a possible COZUMEL WINTER BIKING GETAWAY in February, OLE!

PLEASE DON'T MISS THIS MEETUP--IT'S IMPORTANT!!!

P.S. Legend has it that the god of all gods was carrying a bag of diamonds. The bag broke, diamonds fell and scattered all over the Adriatic along Dalmatian coast, thus creating the most magnificent archipelago of 1,186 islands, islets and reefs, each one sparkling with its own beauty and each one more charming than the other. Dalmatians (dogs) did not get their name because they came from Dalmatia, but rather because the distinctive markings that characterize the breed resemble the scattered Dalmatian islands.

The Adriatic Sea, the northern part of the Mediterranean, separating the mainland between Croatia and Italy, has the calmest waters of the entire Mediterranean. Because the surf seldom exceeds 5 feet the Adriatic is ideal for leisurely cruising even by the smallest vessels (we will spend some of our days on a small ship). The Dalmatian Coast is dotted with numerous beautiful little towns, some dating back to Roman times, each one prettier than the other. They are amazing and fun to explore by BIKE or on foot.

Is there room for begginers in this group? I love to ride my bike which is a 7 speed but I am no Lance Armstrong. I do take a spinning class to try and keep in shape. Is most of this group made up of very experienced riders? Please give me a sense of the mix. Thanks!
