Climb/hike a high peak

If you are interested in taking a break from the canyons sometime during the festival, Teakettle (13,819 with a 40' section of 5.3) and Potosi (13,786) are still on my list and Mt. Sneffels is nearby. All are 7 mi. SW of Ouray. Flexible arrangements, let's discuss plans in the comments.

I definitely am interested. I don't have set plans yet since I am winging the while trip (traveling solo). I've never done any of the canyons OR any of the peaks in the area so I'm looking to get the most bang for my buck so to speak. I arrive late late Thursday night and need to be on the road by early afternoon Sunday. Teakettle sounds fun, as would Sneffles (esp since I have yet to bag a 14er)

Ok. I am perfectly okay with an early start, I wake up before the sun anyways. How long do you anticipate the climb to take? Are the peaks snow free?[masked]

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
