Introduction
Moving back to the PDX area after nearly 8 long years in the brown Southwest.
What part of the area would you like to see rides in?
West side
What level of rides do you like - short and easy, long and challenging, or somewhere in between??
Getting back on the bike after several years in the heat. I want to start with something that won't kill me, but then move up to the longer and more challenging types. I'd love to be ready to do the one day STP in 2013
Are you a fair-weather rider or do you ride year round?
If others are willing to brave the weather, I'm happy to join in.

I agree. I am also am a strong supporter of rule 34.
We're always looking for new ride leaders! You don't need to be a real expert or a very strong rider - we especially need people willing to lead short easy rides for beginners. Would you be interested in giving it a try someday?

Welcome to OutSpoke'n, Dennis. Sounds like you have an ambitious goal. If you want to do the one day STP, check out rides led by Art Fleming, Pete Smith or Eric Weisenborn. Those three guys are our strongest ride leaders.

Hi Dennis. I'm signed up for the 30-mile ride. I'll be there in my very lime-yellow jersey with all the stuff added to my bike. BTW, do I know Viviane that also sent you a msg about the ride?

Thanks for the info, Dennis! Do you think you will do the UBS ride? I might do the 50km... we'll see. I will be out of town next weekend but hopefully I'll see you around at another Global Bikes Meetup!
