Join us at Cossetta - a popular Italian restaurant for dinner. Come and see the NEW remodeled Cossettas!
This is a cozy place in the heart of downtown (although it's easy to get to, has free parking and is on the outskirts of the downtown area).
If you have never been, it's like stepping into a market/restaurant in Italy. We stand in line to order - pizza by the slice on one side and on the other - salad or pasta. Then we bring our food up (on trays) to the upstairs area and eat Italian Style (the place is usually packed). :) Credit/cash accepted.
Parking is to the back of the restaurant - follow the signs on Chestnut Street. :) Free parking.
This is what this site says about this place: http://www.allmenus.com/mn/st-paul/165840-cossetta/info/
"A bustling Italian eatery that's been serving home-style delicacies since 1911. There is some method to this lovably Italian madness. To the right, the line for a whopping piece of pizza. To the left, a queue for salads, entrees and pasta. Upstairs, diners squeeze into tables and get friendly. Event nights at the nearby Xcel Energy Center are mildly chaotic. The pizzas--made and thrown by hand for the entertainment of all--is famous. Other choices include mostaccioli in the tongue-tingling marinara, near-perfect lasagna and saucy meatball sandwiches."
If you get there first, please talk with Ray who is the manager on duty and will help us reserve a few tables upstairs in back.
Looking forward to seeing you!
