Peter Hook Performs New Order’s “Movement” & “Power, Corruption and Lies” Live

Having completed the live performances of Joy Division's albums Peter Hook and his band The Light have moved onto New Order's first two albums for this gig at the O2 Academy in Birmingham. I saw the gig in Coventry last autumn and it was very atmospheric and brilliant.

Tickets are £22.50 and are available via:

A utopia of newordermungousness... fab gig, and Ive never been more delighted with a support band than this! Many thanks Johnathan

There is a support act called the Slaves of Venus. However reading reviews it appears that this is in fact Peter Hook doing some Joy Division songs before moving onto New Order for the main show. If so, definately well worth getting there in time for the support!!
Unhelpfully the running times only get updated on the day; for Suede the support was due on at 7.50pm so we want to be there before that time on Saturday.

If he's going to play some Joy Division then I'm happy to get there at 9am and wait.

Sadly think I will have to give the Jam House a miss this time. Hopefully we can get there sometime soon though.

Still tickets available for Suede at the O2 in Brum tonight if people like that sort of thing. Saw them in august at outdoor venue and they were superb.

Does anyone fancy making a full night of it with a trip after to the Jam House for some late night live music, disco and dancing? And then maybe stay over in Brum. http://www.thejamhouse.com/birmingham/live-music/event/2359/the-red-lemons-november-2013.htm

Yes, I'm up for the Jam House too... had a great night there a few years ago... I'm planning to drive from Kenilworth, so there's space for a few others (Johnathan's already bagsied a lift on the off-chance...)

They were amazing last year when they performed Unknown Pleasures with Hooky on vocals. Should be fantastic!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
