The hike was nice, the stories of Juan Bautista and his expedition was priceless. Having the rangers dress and tell stories from that time era, amazingly beautiful. What an awesome history we have right here in our own backyard. Thanks to you all for making this such a grand day.

This was such a "real" field trip. I enjoyed this hike so much mainly because of the historical component. It gave me a new perspective on the Presidio, rather than just viewing this area as one of the most beautiful training grounds for outdoor sports. And those tortillas were heavenly! Very good job Teresa!

Definitely one of the all-time best hikes. A great mix of moderate and challenging stretches and the park rangers were amazing. The period costumes and the history lessons in character were a really nice touch.

I loved it. The Presidio staff/park rangers did a wonderful job with the trails, history discussions, characters and attire, and maze/tortilla demonstration. And they were very friendly. Thanks Teresa for organizing this hike.

I loved the hike along with the history. The Presidio Park staff arranged a fun, educational hike that ended with a great demonstration of how people lived at the time it was settled.
