Hi Vicky, wild as in pristine or wild as in rapids? I'm hoping pristine!

It was a great day. There were no climb overs and the water was plentiful. We were paddling beneath the green canopy of the forest in full leaf out.

Hi Vicky, Heading to Gordonsville, Va tomorrow for a week. Our first road trip with our new Vapor kayaks. Cheryl at Al and Sam's is the best kayak salesperson in the universe. Put in at Mill Creek in Fairton last week and paddled with the tide up to Broad St in Bridgeton. Very pleasant paddle. Hope to join you on the next Maurice trip.

    Do you need a quorum?

Unfortunately it is the season for the bug and tick repellent. Especially ticks!

I assume we can rent canoes. Also, is this suitable for beginners? (It looks like it may be a little too advanced for me).

You can arrange a rental by calling Al & Sams in Newfield,[masked]-8440. Tell them you are meeting the OCSJ and they will send you over the lake to us. The trip as it is is advanced, because of the 10 mile length and it is strenuous, but you can take out at Almond where we lunch and Al & Sams will pick you up.
