Walk the Batona Trail in four days

This is the last of the 4 walks, on March 15, 16, 29 and 30th of the complete Batona Trail.  The plan is to walk at a pace greater than 3 mph.  On this walk, we will walk from Batsto Village to the trail's terminus at Bass River State Forest from where we will shuttle back to Batsto Village.

This last walk is the longest and will cover about 20 miles.   It is not for the tender of foot, and should only be tried by walkers familiar with the conditions that might be found along this trail

If you have done the previous three walks this one will complete your tour of the Batona.  If not, it is a very interesting, while long, walk in itself.  Poor weather will not cancel, if you come to the meeting point, I will lead the walk.

Jay - we are going to pass on this hike. Sorry, fair weather hiker that likes dry feet. Thank you Jeff

Jay....my wife and I have backed out due to rain. Having never hiked this part, would this be wading rather than hiking? If you feel the trail will be mostly just wet, then we might go. Your thoughts?

There is one section which of about 2 miles which may have a wet spot, but I don't expect to be wading unless today's rain doesn't stop. Today's problem was only rain not wet feet.

For all participants in Sunday's walk, I need you to reconfirm beyond your RSVP that you will be coming Sunday so I can arrange enough cars for the return shuttle. I will assume that those of you who do not let me know, will be willing to wait a longer time for your return trip to Batsto Village.
I'm not doing this to be mean. I just want to make things easy for those who will be providing the shuttle ride back to the hike's starting point.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
