We will search for a more silver treasure previously unknown in the bitter cold. There's a new location where the last British Ship was scuttled. Rumored to have been full of bullion. 6 miles Moderate pace, enjoy the scenary. NC NP. Bad weather cancels. Arrrr.
Can ya do it Matey! Can ya stand the cold and frozen seas for gold!

Bring picnic type and warm food for a tailgate social after the hike.

18 Attending on Meetup alone, so we expect at least twice that for a swarthy bunch of crewmates!

I promise all you Pirates 100% Pure Gold for your efforts. We will hike to Batsto Beach (yes), then the confluence of the Mullica and Batsto Rivers - to the old Van Saints Shipyards of the past. Where there will be pure gold treasure to reward this pirate crew. Be sure you can make the entire 6 miles or be lost in the wilderness or at sea.
Arrr, join the tailgate social afterward and bring some snacks and food to share with your fellow shipmates. This is the last voyage until the end of Year, so be on the ship promptly at leaving time, or be left behind as the boat sails sharply at 11AM at Batsto Village.

This will be the last Pirate hike until next December so if you are going this is the big one. We expect a lot of people from across the club, facebook, and meetup pages. The weather will be much warmer compared to today so it will be just right! And if you like the 11am startup time, modest pace, and time to look around, come join us.
