This was my first trip with the Outdoor Club and I must say I had an awesome time. Well planned and organized by Kevin Drevik. All who attended where helpful and friendly which made me feel very comfortable. The hike was tough but not over the top. The weather was perfect. A great mix of people who all really enjoy hiking as much as I do. Thanks everybody and looking forward to the trips planned in May.

We segmented these sections in the past few weeks... the rocks southward to Hawk Rock are absolutely brutal but the view is great... Peters mtn also has wonderful views but the downslope to the bridges has some treacherous dropoffs and footing was tenuous .. Be safe! And good Luck...

Kevin don't forget to email me the address. Also, are there water source along the way?

Disregard the dog question, but I am looking into attending.
BTW- I believe the Thelma Marks Shelter was demolished and replaced with the Cove Mountain shelter quite a few years ago.

Hey Kevin I'd love to join you guys, I've been wanting to do a multi day trip. You said running the ridge or did you mean hiking the ridge???

We're hiking the ridge. I'm too old to run with a pack on my back

Make sure you head over to the Doyle Hotel after the hike for a nice cold beer and good burger. Very hiker friendly

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
