No Drop-Outs this time. 7+ miles. Moderate Pace. NC NP. You need to be able to make the entire trip with no drop out possible.

We'll go a bit farther and quicker deeper into the woods this time. Perhaps farther up the white trail up along the batsto looking for beaver lodges.

Bring food and snacks for tailgate after the hike.

great exercise, great leader but I got tired of seeing the same kind of tree over and over, mile after mile, no flowers or wildlife. I bet I would really like it in the Fall.

Hi, Liz. My cell map was giving me fits and I took forever finding what I thought was the right place to meet. I was bummed I missed the group, but I ended up hiking anyway. I did the Batona Trail pink trail (ended up doing 12 miles... a little too much for me) solo. I passed a group at one point. Was that you all? Maybe next time I'll make it.

Thanks Tom for leading a great hike. Bina and I enjoyed the trip and the friendly company. We are even getting over the sore joints. Look forward to joining future hikes.

Thank you all for attending. It was a great time. Our experimental journey took us about 7.4 miles. We wanted to try one more spot, but it would have added 2+ more miles to the trip.

The hike WILL NOT have any break-outs! NOT APPROPRIATE for children or pets. A tad bit longer than my standard trip this time, but not much. We will hike out away from Batsto up along the river and beyond the white trail and on fire breaks. As usual, modest pace, lots of stops to look around, catch-up, chat, take a breather. Typical tailgate social at the end. Not a rush, just no breakouts or way to leave the group. Most looking forward to seeing you all there.
