Kenz Krooz - Wednesday Evening C Pace Rides

Kenz Krooz: 15-25 miles. Let’s ride! This “C” pace ride will krooz at 12-14 mph for distances dictated by the light. We’ll have brief stops for regrouping and breakdowns. Rides begin at 6:00 pm every Wednesday evening, starting on May 1st, from the Lenape High School parking lot on the Hartford Road side of the school. Rain requiring wipers cancels the ride. Leader: Ken,[masked], [masked].

Hi Ken, did you know that on Aug 7th, Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM Nixon's general store is having a group photo that will hang in the store? Everyone is welcome to come be in the photo and for free drinks and food too. It might be fun to ride there and get in the photo. Check it out on Nixon's general Store on facebook.

Ken, what is a C pace? I would like to ride with the club- give it a try. I did 25-35 miles a day in Holland for 7 straight days, but we didn't go very fast. Would the Wednesday night ride be a good starting place to see if I can keep up?

Hi Debra. A C pace ride is officially defined as a ride that has an average speed (averaged over the entire ride) between 12 and 14 miles an hour. On my ride, I generally keep a steady 14 mph pace, and with slowdowns for stops and turns etc., the average speed is usually between 13 and 14 mph. Right now the ride distance we're doing is about 23 miles, but it will decrease as we start having shorter periods of daylight. You are more than welcome to join our Wednesday night ride!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
