Snow shoeing at Chester Lake in Kananaskis

I'm thinking we should meet at the station around 7:45 so that we can convoy out at 8.

If you do not have snowshoes you can rent some at the University of Calgary Outdoor center or MEC down town. The 14 day trend shows it may be a little chilly on the 13th with some snow, so be sure to dress in layers, remember snow pants and bring good amounts of food and water.

I would also like to first stop in at the visitors' center before we start the hike because I want to make sure the road to get there and the path will be good. The website says it should be good, but I want to double check.

The trail is located on the Smith dorian/Spray Lakes road about 20 km north of the junction of Kananaskis Road in Peter Lougheed park.

Alrighty, I hope everybody is ready for tomorrow!
So you know what to look for, I drive a red honda CRV (it's a station wagon). And also please bring 5-10 dollars to chip in for gas.
    See you all tomorrow mourning!

Just a heads up that my other two people who drive have not given me a definate answer yet, so to anybody else who may respond to this I have one more seat in my car but will post when I get an answer as to whether we have more car seats.

Ok, I'm in! Just to make sure - is it ok if I have no experience with show shoeing or is the trip too difficult for a beginner?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
