We're going to snow shoe the Mirror Lake via Lake Agnes hiking trail. Vital Stats:
Distance: 5.4 km return

Elevation Gain: 295 m

Difficulty: Moderate

Estimated time: 2-3 hours return

Weather Forecast: -3C and sunny

The hike will start and end from Lake Louise, so at the end of the hike we'll do some skating on the lake and check out the Ice Sculpture Festival.

If you don't own snowshoes, you may rent them at UofC Outdoor Centre of MEC for around $10.

Mountain weather is changeable, so please dress appropriately in layers.

I am driving, and I am going to set the maximum number of participants to 5 for now. If we get more drivers, we can increase this number.

Drivers, please indicate that you're driving when RSVP. If you need a ride, please contact a driver and sort out a ride. If you're needing a ride, please bring $10-$20 for gas, the exact cost of which will be decided by the driver depending on how many people share a ride.

Thanks again, Rohana, for organizing! - it was once more a really nice day! The snowshoeing was a lot of fun, especially the last part - it was somehow a pity that not all of you joined us. But you will enjoy our great pics we took!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
