Join me for a hike in one of my favorite hiking places

We'll explore this abundant, full of life area and you'll be able to sample some of the wild foods as well as learn how to use them for tools and medicine, just like the Native Americans.

You will learn how and which plants are used to:

• Make cordage

• Make soap

• Provide relief from poison oak

• Make a meal

• Make Fire

• Treat arthritis

• Treat respiratory issues

• Treat sore throats

• Treat stomach aches

• Relieve Pain

 And a whole lot more!

You'll be surprised at the uses many of the plants and trees you come in contact with on a daily basis have.

exploration is fairly easy and should last about 2-3 hours... The class will be over before traffic starts!

Bring comfortable appropriate clothing

Bring appropriate footwear

Bring water and a snack if you want

Bring a notebook and camera if you wish

Sunscreen and a hat is recommended

We will meet at the end of West Altadena Dr.

The nearest address for GPS reference is

896 West Altadena Drive
Altadena, CA 91001

Please park on the street. We will meet at the end of the culdesac

What others are saying

Awesome class! I've taken other wild plants classes and this was the most informative!

Fantastic group! Nice way to spend a morning with cool people learning about the plants and their uses. I can spot tobacco plants, Yerba Santa, horse weed, california pepper, buckwheat, currants, yucca and know what I can do with them. Thanks guys!

**** The hike begins promptly at 10am****
