Hike to Hollywood Sign

Hike to the Hollywood sign from the Greek Theatre! We will meet in front of the Greek Theatre at noon. We will leave at 12:15 PM. Address is 2700 North Vermont, in Griffith Park
Los Angeles
California 90027.
Hike is 6-7 miles with 1,000 feet elevation gain. Hike will take approx a little over 3 hours. Hike will go by the Observatory--will be closed.
Bring water, sturdy shoes, sweater, etc.
Stop at all forks!

It was a nice hike, but it was actually almost 10 miles round trip and I'm SURE more than a 1,000 foot elevation gain. The hike took about 4 hours. Sooooo a bit more than several of us had planned time and exertion-wise. Still, a good group of people, a scenic hike, and a nice way to spend new year's day. So thanks ed!
